  • Name Frederick James BUTT
Born 1846/7  Chalford, Gloucestershire Find all individuals with events at this location
    • Frederick's birthplace was given as Chalford, Essex in the 1891 census but Chalford doesn't exist in Essex. When Frederick was found with James Butt, his father, in the 1851 census in the Bisley parish in Gloucs, the census village was identified as Chalford. This find together with the fact that James was recorded as a weaver on Frederick's marriage certificate confirmed the correct family had been found.
