What a brilliant site! I am searching for James Horner and his family from Chard, Somerset and Membury, Devon. If anyone knows anything about them I would love to hear from you.
Many thanks

I think we may have a connection. My gggaunt, Martha Sinker married George Whitbread in 1869 in Huddersfield. In the 1871 census for Huddersfield, he says that he was aged 29 and born in Upminster, Essex. In his marriage certificate he says that his father's name is Joseph Whitbread, a farmer.

Hi there, I've just found your site and have only been reading for a few minutes but have finally learnt how my 4th great grandfather John Ennever Morris came to be! Thank you so much! Don't suppose you can send me a gedcom file of his ancestors could you? I'm going to enjoy reading more of your site and will be forwarding it to my own family. Thanks again. Rebecca

Great asset to locate missing family members. Must have been an enormous task.
I am descended from Clifford Edgar THOMPSON born at Summer Hill, NSW on 21/07/1899.
I am trying to trace the Thompson Family. So far I have been able to go back as far as Samuel Thompson born 1724 in England.
I would appreciate any assistance available.
Many thanks. Regards Chris

This is the most wonderful site and "my name is up in lights." I can only imagine the time, research and effort that has gone into compiling all the information and how much it is appreciated from someone who is quite a novice at researching the family tree. Thank you

What a great website this is. The work that must have gone into this is inspiring.I found it rather interesting that there is a Natalie Louise M Gilder in the history as it is so close to my name being Natalie Louise B Gilder.

I've just 'found' your impressive web-site. Particularly, I'm interested in the two links to Coram Foundling Hospital; my father was there from 1903 to 1919, the first five years being fostered out of course. There are far too many people represented on your family trees, so I've taken the easy course of writing to ask for the connection.
Barry Ennever Wednesday, 24 December 2008 11:24
Hello John, the connection is through Harold Lawson Sherwood http://www.ennever.com/getperson.php?personID=I6845&tree=Ennever1

What a great web site. It must have taken you such a long time to put together. Well done.
Found this via google search & Genforum. Simon Robert Common & Jane Enever were my great grandparents.

Hi Barry,
I have just stumbled across your site. Thanks for putting it on the web. I will digest it over the next little while.
I am a descendant of George Ennever, the cobbler turned publican. George's son, Charles, sired a line of Ernest Benjamin Morris's the 3rd of them is my father.
George is my father's, grandfather's, grandfather.
Cheers
Jim
